We have students learning to make furniture in Australia too. They are usually apprentices and they study at the Technical and Further Education Vocational Colleges for one day a week and work on site for the rest of the week. Are any of your students apprentices?
This is different to Australia. Our apprentices work for fpour days and are in school for one day. Sometimes they are in school for a block of four weeks. They are supervised in their workplace and assessed by the teacher who visits them. Is this the same in Sweden with your furntitaure making students? Do they get jobs in companies when they have finished their course?
You have a lot of programs in your school. In Australia I dont think we have a course in carving. Can you tell me a little bit about this program?

ReplyDeleteYes they are but they are not out all the time. They are out two times at a period. Then they are out for five weeks.
